These terms of use govern your use of this website. Please read them carefully. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

These terms cover the website only. They are not the terms on which we sell travel. If you go on to book a journey with us, a separate set of booking conditions will apply to that booking and will be provided to you before you are asked to pay anything.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Star Travels & Holidays Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company Number 17373208, with its registered office at Star House, 14 Aintree Road, Perivale, Greenford UB6 7LA, trading as Star Travels and part of Star Tours. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Star Travels & Holidays Ltd, and "you" means the person using the site.

2. Changes to these terms and to the site

We may revise these terms at any time by amending this page. Please check it from time to time, because the version in force is the one published here when you use the site. The date above tells you when it was last changed.

We may also update, change or withdraw any part of the site, and we do not guarantee that the site or any of its content will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw access for business or operational reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and to enquire about travel arrangements. You may not:

• use the site in any way that breaks any applicable law or regulation;
• submit an enquiry that is not genuine, or submit anyone else's personal details without their permission;
• send anything through the site that is unlawful, defamatory, offensive, deliberately misleading, or that infringes another person's rights;
• knowingly introduce a virus, or any other material that is malicious or technologically harmful;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it is stored on, or any server, computer or database connected to it;
• use any automated system to extract content from the site, or copy any substantial part of it for use in another service or dataset, without our written permission;
• interfere with the site's normal operation, including by placing an unreasonable load on it.

We may withdraw your right to use the site if you breach these terms.

4. Our content and intellectual property

We own or are licensed to use the content on this site, including its text, itinerary descriptions, page design, layout and graphics. These works are protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws, and all such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and download extracts, of any page for your own personal use and to share internally within your own household or organisation for the purpose of planning travel with us. You must not modify anything you copy, and you must not use any part of the content for commercial purposes, or republish it, without a licence from us.

Some photography and other material on the site is used under licence from third parties, who retain their own rights in it. Nothing here grants you any right to reuse that material.

"Star Travels" and "Star Tours", and our logos, are our marks and may not be used without our permission. Third-party names and marks appearing on the site, including those of hotels, airlines and trade bodies, belong to their respective owners.

5. Accuracy of information on this site

The content on this site is provided for general information about the kinds of journey we arrange. It is not advice, and you should not treat it as the only basis for a decision.

Itinerary outlines, sample routes, accommodation, durations and images are indicative. Every journey we sell is designed individually, so what is described here may differ from what is ultimately proposed to you or from what is available at the time you travel. The details that bind us are the ones in your own written itinerary and confirmation, not the ones on this site.

Practical information about travel to India, including anything touching entry requirements, visas, customs allowances, health or vaccination guidance, is provided as a general guide only and is not kept under continuous review. Those requirements are set by the UK and Indian authorities and change without notice. Always check the current position with the relevant official source before you travel, and take medical advice from your GP or a travel health clinic. Responsibility for holding correct travel documents rests with each traveller.

Where the site displays or describes prices, those are indicative and subject to availability and confirmation. A price is only binding once we have confirmed it to you in writing.

6. Links to other websites

Where the site links to another website or resource, that link is provided for information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites and accept no responsibility for them, for any loss arising from your use of them, or for their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

You may link to our home page, provided you do so fairly and legally, in a way that does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, and you must not suggest any association with or approval by us where none exists. You must not frame the site on another website. We may withdraw linking permission at any time.

7. Enquiries and material you send us

When you submit an enquiry, you confirm that the information you give is accurate and that, where it concerns other members of your party, you are authorised to give it. How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or reserve anything, and does not oblige either of us to enter into a contract. A booking exists only once we have confirmed it to you in writing in accordance with our booking conditions.

Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the site beyond what is needed for your enquiry. If you send us feedback, suggestions or ideas about our service, we are free to use them without obligation to you.

8. Our liability to you

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and other consumer protection legislation that these terms do not affect.

Subject to that, and to the extent permitted by law: we exclude the implied conditions, warranties and other terms that might otherwise apply to this site or its content; we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from your reliance on any content on it; and we are not liable for loss of profits, business, goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

We do not guarantee that this site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your own device and using your own virus protection.

This clause concerns your use of the website. Our responsibilities in relation to a journey you have booked are dealt with in our booking conditions, and this clause does not limit them.

9. Booking a journey

These terms of use do not govern the sale of travel. If you book a journey with us, a separate set of booking conditions will apply, covering matters such as payment, deposits, changes, cancellation, our responsibilities and yours, and financial protection. We will provide those conditions to you in writing before you are asked to pay anything, and they will take precedence over these terms in relation to your booking.

10. Privacy and cookies

Your use of the site is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you live.

12. General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply. If we delay in enforcing any part of them, that does not prevent us from enforcing it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.
