Arrive in Delhi after your international flight, to a private welcome and transfer to your luxury hotel. No sightseeing is planned, giving you time to recover from the long journey and settle gently into India.

Day 2Wings to the Valley of Kashmir
After breakfast, transfer privately to Delhi airport for a comfortable late-morning or midday flight to Srinagar. You will be welcomed on arrival and taken to your hotel for a deliberately light first afternoon beside the lake.

Day 3Drifting Through Dal Lake's Floating Gardens
Glide across Dal Lake on a private guided Shikara, the traditional Kashmiri boat, through quieter waterways, floating gardens and the historic houseboat areas. Continue to two carefully chosen Mughal gardens, then discover Kashmir's craft heritage at selected artisan workshops, which may include Pashmina weaving, papier-mâché, walnut-wood carving and hand-knotted carpets. The focus is cultural insight, not shopping.

Day 5Ascent to the Meadow of Flowers
Leave Srinagar for Gulmarg, whose name means "meadow of flowers", around 55 kilometres and 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic and weather. Your guide interprets the changing landscape as the road climbs into the mountains. Arrive, check in and enjoy lunch and a gentle first afternoon.

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar airport, around 90 kilometres and 2.5 to 3 hours with a generous buffer, for your flight to Delhi with guide assistance. No sightseeing is planned after arrival.

When to travel
Mountain weather can change quickly and may affect roads and flights. The Gulmarg Gondola and snow activities depend on operating conditions. Pahalgam is busy with the Amarnath Yatra pilgrimage, usually in July and August.
