How Pricing Works
We don't publish a per-person price list, because we don't sell fixed packages. Every trip is designed around your family, so the honest answer to "how much" depends on decisions we make together, not a rate card.
That said, here's what actually moves the number up or down:
- Accommodation tier. Named four-star and five-star properties in each city; see the accommodation options on each journey page.
- Season. Peak months (typically October to March in most of India) cost more than the shoulder seasons.
- Duration and number of regions. A single-region trip costs less than a longer route covering several.
- Private guiding and transport. Standard on every Star Travels trip, not an upgrade, but the level of specialist access (e.g. a private historian, a family-history researcher) can add to it.
- Party size and composition. Multi-generational trips with different mobility or pacing needs sometimes cost more to plan well, not just to run.
The quickest way to get a real figure for your own trip is to tell us about it. There's no obligation, and no call centre - an India specialist replies personally.
